The IW Knights would like to thank all of those who attended or supported our 2nd annual Fat Friday Mardi Gras Party and Cajun Dinner. Attendance was up from our initial event last year’s event. We hope you can join you next year – please save the date – February 9th 2018. The net profit from the event will go into our charitable contributions fund. One of the Pro-Life Street Ministries needs volunteer help
Would you like to help save babies? ThriVe of St. Louis is in need of volunteer drivers for their Mobile Medical Center (MMC’s). You could work as little as 1 to 2 days a month (usually from 9AM to 3PM). ThriVe is a faith-based organization which provides life-affirming alternatives to abortion. Incarnate Word parishioners helped raise the funds to purchase the MMC, and its equipped ultrasound machine, which is stationed across the street from the Planned Parenthood facility in the Central West End area. That facility is the only existing clinic in Missouri which performs abortions. However, ThriVe owns several MMCs and each unit is equipped with an ultrasound machine and staffed by Christian professionals.
